Subaru of America, Inc. has unveiled the pricing for the highly anticipated 2025 Subaru Forester Wilderness, a trail-ready SUV designed for adventure-seekers. Starting at just $34,995 MSRP, the 2025 Forester Wilderness is Subaru's most rugged and off-road capable Forester to date, offering exceptional performance and durability.

Enhanced Off-Road Capabilities

The 2025 Subaru Forester Wilderness comes equipped with a range of off-road enhancements, including a 9.2-inch ground clearance and upgraded suspension featuring longer coil springs and shock absorbers for improved handling on uneven terrain. The SUV also features 17-inch matte-black alloy wheels wrapped in Yokohama GEOLANDAR® All-Terrain tires, ensuring enhanced traction on wet, snowy, or muddy roads.

For added confidence on the trails, a full-size spare is conveniently located under the cargo area, while a front skid plate protects the undercarriage when venturing off-road. The Forester Wilderness' unique front fascia, hexagonal grille, and LED fog lights give it a striking appearance, perfect for those who want both style and functionality on their adventures.

Comfort and Practicality for All Adventures

Inside, the 2025 Forester Wilderness is designed for both rugged utility and comfort. It features water-resistant StarTex® seating surfaces, which are easy to clean after outdoor activities. All-weather mats and a standard cargo tray keep the interior pristine even after muddy adventures. The vehicle's ladder-style roof rails are robust enough to support up to 800 pounds, perfect for carrying a rooftop tent or other heavy gear.

The Forester Wilderness offers a spacious interior with 39.4 inches of rear seat legroom and 26.9 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row. The 60/40-split folding rear seats can be easily folded to open up a maximum of 69.1 cubic feet of cargo space, allowing for bulky items to be transported with ease.

Performance and Towing Power

The 2025 Subaru Forester Wilderness is powered by a 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER® engine paired with a Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The engine delivers 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque, sending power to all four wheels via Subaru's standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. This setup provides the Forester Wilderness with superior traction and stability, especially in off-road conditions.

With a maximum towing capacity of 3,000 pounds and the inclusion of Trailer Stability Assist, the Forester Wilderness is equipped to tow boats, trailers, or campers, making it ideal for adventurous families and outdoor enthusiasts.

Advanced Technology and Safety Features

The 2025 Forester Wilderness comes equipped with Subaru's EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, which includes a suite of advanced safety features, such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking, Lane Departure Warning, and Lead Vehicle Start Alert. Additionally, the vehicle includes Automatic Emergency Steering, which works with EyeSight to help avoid collisions at speeds below 50 mph.

Other safety features include Blind-Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert to enhance driver confidence on and off the road.

Pricing and Optional Packages

The 2025 Subaru Forester Wilderness is available in a single trim level, starting at $34,995 MSRP. An optional package, priced at $2,000 MSRP, adds a STARLINK® 8.0-inch Multimedia Navigation System, a Harman Kardon® premium audio system with nine speakers, and a Power Rear Gate for added convenience.

The total MSRP, including the Destination & Delivery charge of $1,420, is $36,415 for the base model. The vehicle will be available at Subaru retailers starting in early 2025.

The 2025 Subaru Forester Wilderness combines rugged off-road performance with modern technology and comfort, making it the perfect SUV for adventurers. Learn more about the 2025 Forester Wilderness at your local Subaru retailer.
