Ceer, the first Electric vehicle brand in Saudi Arabia has been launched by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
Ceer is the first Saudi automotive brand and will design, manufacture and sell the vehicles in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region. These include sedans and SUV. This is a joint venture between PIF (Public Investment Fund) and Foxconn (Hon Hai Precision Inductry Co). The component technology will be licensed from BMW and Foxconn will develop the electrical architecture of the vehicles. The vehicles from Ceer are scheduled to be available in 2025.
