Hyundai showcases the 2023 IONIQ 6

Hyundai showcased the 2023 IONIQ 6, the four door electric sedan. It rides on the E-GMP (Electric Global Modular Platform) which allows for dual motors, more interior space and optimized performance. This car is a part of Hyundai’s plan to introduce 17 BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) till 2030. This car goes on sale in spring 2023. A few features of Hyundai 2023 IONIQ 6 are:
  • Driving range target of 340 miles (estimated)on single rear motor (2WD) and 310 miles for dual motor AWD.
  • Ultrafast 800 volt multi charging: 10% to 80% in 18 minutes with 350kW charger.
  • Can support both 400V and 800V charging infrastructures.
  • Standard 10.9kW on board charger completes a full charge in 7 hours 10 minutes using Level 2 charging.
  • Drag coefficient of just 0.22
  • 116 inch wheelbase
  • More than 700 Parametric Pixels in headlamps, rear combination lamps, front lower sensors, air vent garnishes and a center console.
  • 18 or 20 inch machined black wheels
  • Completely flat floor
  • Modular touchscreen dashboard integrates 12.3 inch full touch infotainment display and 12.3 inch digital cluster under one piece of glass.
  • Dual colour ambient lighting. Users can choose from a spectrum of 64 colours and six dual colour themes.
  • Eco friendly materials used
  • Battery 77.4 kWh
  • Battery can be combined with two electric motor layouts, either with a rear motor only or with both front and rear motors.
  • Top model has AWD (All Wheel Drive) and 320hp (74kW front and 165kW rear) along with 446ft-lbs of torque.
  • OTA firmware updates
  • Vehicle to Load function (V2L) can be used to charge any electrical device.
  • SmartSense advanced driver assistance systems
  • Digital Key 2.0 Touch: an iPhone, Apple Watch or Samsung Galaxy smartphone can be used to lock, unlock or start the vehicle.
