SEOUL, Nov. 16, 2024 - Hyundai Motor Company has officially unveiled the ELANTRA N TCR Edition, a high-performance sedan designed to bring the thrill of motorsports to everyday driving. Inspired by Hyundai's successful involvement in the TCR World Tour, the ELANTRA N TCR Edition is packed with advanced performance features and exclusive design elements that elevate the driving experience.

ELANTRA N TCR Edition: A Sedan Built for Motorsport Enthusiasts

The new ELANTRA N TCR Edition (known as AVANTE N TCR Edition in South Korea) showcases Hyundai's deep motorsport expertise, bringing elements from the TCR World Tour to a road-going sedan. Since entering the TCR World Tour in 2017, Hyundai has accumulated invaluable racing experience, which has directly influenced the performance upgrades in this new edition. With multiple race wins and championships under its belt, the TCR World Tour has been a crucial platform for refining Hyundai's high-performance engineering.

Performance Features of the ELANTRA N TCR Edition

One of the standout features of the ELANTRA N TCR Edition is its Carbon Swan Neck Spoiler, a race-inspired component designed for optimal aerodynamics. The spoiler is fully adjustable, allowing drivers to fine-tune the downforce according to their driving preferences or conditions, ensuring exceptional stability at high speeds.

In addition to the spoiler, the ELANTRA N TCR Edition comes with lightweight 19-inch N TCR Forged Wheels that reduce weight while maintaining strength and rigidity. These wheels enhance handling and performance on the road. The car also boasts N Performance monoblock brakes that ensure superior stopping power, essential for high-performance driving.

Exclusive Design Elements for the ELANTRA N TCR Edition

The interior and exterior of the ELANTRA N TCR Edition are infused with motorsport DNA, giving the vehicle a unique and aggressive look. The TCR Edition decals (available exclusively in South Korea) and TCR Edition badging add a distinctive touch, while the Performance Blue accents, including seat belts and a steering wheel with a blue top marker, emphasize the car's sporty character.

Inside, the race-inspired Alcantara steering wheel ensures a firm grip, enhancing driver control. This is complemented by the Performance Blue seat belts, adding a touch of style and safety, further solidifying the car's motorsport-inspired credentials.

Launch Plans for the ELANTRA N TCR Edition

Hyundai plans to launch the ELANTRA N TCR Edition first in South Korea this December, with a global rollout expected to follow in 2025. This limited-edition performance sedan is designed for true driving enthusiasts who crave the adrenaline of motorsport, combined with everyday practicality and style.

β€œThe ELANTRA N TCR Edition represents the pinnacle of Hyundai's motorsport heritage,” said Joon Park, Vice President of N Brand Management Group. β€œBy bringing the motorsports-inspired features of our TCR World Tour racers to a road car, we aim to offer performance car enthusiasts an exciting and unique driving experience every day.”

Why Choose the ELANTRA N TCR Edition?

For driving enthusiasts, the ELANTRA N TCR Edition is more than just a car - it's an experience. Its combination of high-performance components, motorsport-inspired design, and advanced technology make it the ideal choice for those who seek both thrill and precision. Whether on the track or the road, the ELANTRA N TCR Edition delivers unparalleled performance and handling.

With its cutting-edge performance upgrades, including adjustable downforce, forged wheels, and monoblock brakes, the ELANTRA N TCR Edition sets a new benchmark for high-performance sedans. Hyundai is paving the way for a new era of road-going vehicles that bring the motorsports spirit to everyday driving.
