MG to launch Air EV in India in 2023

MG has unveiled plans to bring it’s two door compact electric vehicle, code name E230, based on the Wuling Air EV, to India in 2023. The price is expected to be around ₹10 lakh.The MG Air EV is based on the Global Small Electric Vehicle platform. The Indian version is expected to be packed with features including a more powerful AC, Battery Management System and many other interior enhancements. This car is being targeted towards the urban commuters. More details will be revealed soon.

BMW Group has started the production of its BMW iX5 Hydrogen model in the pilot plant in Munich. It is the first SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) powered by hydrogen fuel cell technology. Suzuki Motor Corporation has officially launched its first mass-production battery electric vehicle (BEV), the e VITARA, at the EICMA 2024 in Milan, Italy. Production of the e VITARA is set to begin at Suzuki Motor Gujarat in India in spring 2025, with sales expected to roll out across various countries, including Europe, India, and Japan, by summer 2025.
