Tata Motors, India's largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, is leading the charge in sustainable logistics by delivering its state-of-the-art Tata Prima 5530.S LNG trucks to Clean Green Fuel and Logistics Pvt. Ltd, a leading green fuel retailing and logistics company. This move marks a significant step forward in the logistics industry's shift towards cleaner, more sustainable fuel solutions like LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas).

Commencement of Tata Prima 5530.S LNG Truck Deliveries

Tata Motors has begun the delivery of its first batch of Tata Prima 5530.S LNG trucks as part of a major order from Clean Green Fuel and Logistics Pvt. Ltd. The fleet of LNG-powered trucks will help the company reduce emissions and improve the sustainability of its logistics operations. A total of 150 Tata Prima 5530.S LNG trucks have been ordered, with the first vehicles handed over during a specially organized ceremony in the city. Additional deliveries of these LNG trucks will follow in a phased manner.

MoU Signed for Supply of 350 More LNG Trucks

In addition to the initial order, Tata Motors and Clean Green Fuel and Logistics Pvt. Ltd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to supply an additional 350 units of the Tata Prima 5530.S LNG trucks. This partnership is a testament to the growing demand for green fuel solutions in the commercial vehicle sector.

Commitment to Green Logistics and Sustainable Mobility

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Milan Donga, Director of Clean Green Fuel and Logistics Pvt. Ltd, emphasized the company's commitment to revolutionizing logistics with green fuel solutions. "The addition of Tata Motors' advanced LNG-powered trucks marks an important milestone in our efforts to make logistics operations more sustainable and eco-friendly," he said. The Tata Prima 5530.S trucks come equipped with Fleet Edge, Tata Motors' connected vehicle platform, offering real-time data and smart analytics for optimal decision-making in fleet management.

The Tata Prima 5530.S LNG truck is powered by the highly efficient Cummins 6.7L Gas engine, offering 280 horsepower and 1100Nm of torque for superior performance. This robust vehicle is engineered for long-haul and surface transportation operations. Key features include:

  • Fuel-efficient Cummins engine for lower emissions and reduced operational costs
  • Premium Prima cabin for enhanced driver comfort
  • Gear Shift Advisor to optimize fuel usage and improve efficiency
  • Dual fuel cryogenic tank options for extended operational range (over 1000km)
