Leapmotor has expanded its European product line-up at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, presenting the B03 electric hatchback and the D19 flagship SUV while confirming that production of the all-electric B10 SUV has started in Zaragoza, Spain. The announcements highlight the Chinese automaker's growing ambitions in Europe through new products, connected vehicle technology and local manufacturing with support from Stellantis.

The B03 made its European debut at the show, bringing a compact electric hatchback with a claimed WLTP range of up to 390 km, a motor producing up to 145 kW and fast-charging capability. The D19, meanwhile, showcases the brand's plans for the premium SUV segment, with six- and seven-seat configurations and its latest electrified vehicle technology.

Leapmotor International, the joint venture established by Stellantis and Leapmotor, is also expanding its European manufacturing presence. Production of the B10 has officially commenced at the company's first European manufacturing facility in Zaragoza, supporting its strategy of building vehicles closer to customers in the region.

Leapmotor B03 Debuts in Europe With Up to 390 km Range

The Leapmotor B03 is a compact electric hatchback developed for urban driving and everyday use. Built on the company's Compact Electric Platform, it combines a relatively small exterior footprint with a spacious cabin, connected technology and practical storage solutions.

The electric drivetrain delivers up to 145 kW, while the manufacturer claims a driving range of up to 390 km under the WLTP test cycle. The B03 also supports 2.5C fast charging, with a claimed 10% to 80% recharge time of 21 minutes under suitable charging conditions.

These figures are manufacturer claims, and actual range and charging performance will depend on factors such as driving conditions, temperature and charger capability.

Safety and driver assistance are also key features. Leapmotor says the B03 incorporates 21 advanced driver assistance systems, supported by a sensor suite and its latest electronic and electrical architecture. The company has positioned the hatchback as an accessible electric mobility option for customers seeking modern technology and everyday practicality.

Interior Features and Connected Technology

The B03's cabin focuses on digital connectivity and flexible storage. Its dashboard features a 14.6-inch floating central touchscreen and an 8.8-inch digital instrument display, running Leap OS 4.0 Plus infotainment software.

The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with over-the-air software updates. Comfort equipment highlighted by Leapmotor includes heated seats, a heated steering wheel and automatic climate control.

Practicality is another focus. The B03 offers up to 888 mm of rear legroom, a waterproof underfloor storage compartment called Leap Box and a flexible rear-seat system known as LeapFlex. More than 30 storage compartments are distributed throughout the cabin to accommodate everyday items.

Leapmotor says the combination of interior space, digital features and comfort equipment is intended to make advanced technology more accessible in the compact electric vehicle segment.

Leapmotor D19 Showcases Flagship SUV Technology

The D19 was also presented at the 2026 Paris Motor Show as Leapmotor's flagship SUV. Designed to demonstrate the company's capabilities in premium vehicle development, it combines a spacious interior with advanced driver assistance systems, digital features and an adaptive suspension system.

The SUV will be offered with six- or seven-seat layouts. The six-seat configuration uses a 2+2+2 arrangement, with individual captain's chairs in the second row to provide a more premium passenger experience.

Under the skin, the D19 uses Leapmotor's Super REEV range-extender technology and a Cell-to-Chassis architecture. The range-extender system is intended to support longer journeys while retaining an electric-drive focus. Cell-to-Chassis technology integrates the battery structure more closely with the vehicle chassis.

The D19 also features a suspension system designed to adjust to road conditions in real time. However, the Paris Motor Show announcement does not provide detailed powertrain output, battery capacity, charging times or a numerical driving-range figure for the flagship SUV.

Leapmotor B10 Production Begins in Spain

One of the most significant announcements concerns the all-electric Leapmotor B10 SUV. The company has confirmed that production has started at its first European manufacturing facility in Zaragoza, Spain.

The facility operates within the industrial partnership between Leapmotor and Stellantis, allowing the companies to use established manufacturing expertise and infrastructure to serve European customers. Local production is intended to bring manufacturing closer to the market and strengthen Leapmotor's long-term regional presence.

The move marks an important development in the company's European expansion strategy. Rather than relying entirely on vehicles manufactured outside Europe, Leapmotor is establishing a local production base for the B10. The announcement does not, however, provide detailed production-volume targets or a complete schedule for deliveries of locally built vehicles.

Free2move Charge Adds European Charging Access

Leapmotor is also using Stellantis' charging ecosystem to support its electric vehicle customers. Through Free2move Charge, customers can access integrated charging solutions and a network covering more than one million public charging points across Europe.

The network is intended to simplify charging access for drivers travelling across different European markets. The availability of individual charging services and payment options may vary by country and provider.

At the Paris Motor Show, Leapmotor also presented its largest exhibition stand in Europe to date, covering 500 square metres. The display included the brand's expanded model range, a gaming area inspired by the B05 concept and a merchandising section featuring branded clothing and accessories.

For the B10, Leapmotor has confirmed that production has started in Zaragoza, but the announcement does not provide detailed output targets or a full breakdown of production and delivery timings. The company has also not provided a detailed financial or operational assessment of how local manufacturing will affect vehicle pricing.

AkulRide Verdict

Leapmotor's 2026 Paris Motor Show presentation combines a new compact electric hatchback, a technology-focused flagship SUV and a significant manufacturing development in Europe. The B03 stands out for its claimed 390 km WLTP range, 145 kW motor and 21-minute charging window, while the D19 demonstrates the brand's ambitions in larger, more premium vehicles. The start of B10 production in Zaragoza is an important step towards a local European manufacturing strategy with Stellantis. Pricing, detailed specifications and market-specific delivery plans will be important factors in determining how these developments translate into wider customer adoption.
