The new model follows Hyundai's Art of Steel design language, featuring muscular bodywork, sharply defined surfaces and a more prominent SUV stance. At the front, H-Edge lighting combines indirect central illumination with edge lighting to emphasise the vehicle's horizontal proportions. The rear features three-dimensional Prism Rear Lamps.
Depending on the specification, the TUCSON can be equipped with Micro Pixel Lighting headlamps featuring 25,600 individual LED pixels. The system supports precisely controlled beam patterns and welcome and farewell lighting animations.
The TUCSON N Line made its global debut at the same event. It adds a more athletic appearance through a dedicated front bumper, satin-black aerodynamic details, muscular side skirts, gloss-black exterior accents and model-specific 20-inch alloy wheels. Twin exhaust outlets and N Line branding further distinguish the sporty variant.
More Space and Improved Cabin Practicality
Hyundai has focused on passenger access and interior comfort in the all-new TUCSON. The rear doors open to 83 degrees, compared with 73 degrees on the previous model, making it easier for passengers to enter and exit and helping when installing child seats.
The manufacturer quotes 1,038 mm of front headroom, 1,002 mm of rear legroom and 1,470 mm of front shoulder room. Luggage capacity reaches 695 litres, which Hyundai describes as best-in-class.
The cabin features a two-layer dashboard design with an open storage tray beneath the upper section. Available comfort equipment includes electrically adjustable steering wheel settings, relaxation seating, Ergomotion seats and multi-air indirect ventilation.
The TUCSON N Line receives a dedicated black interior with red accents, sporty textile and suede seat upholstery, a distinctive steering wheel and additional dark-metal details. These changes give the trim a more performance-oriented appearance without changing the basic cabin layout.
Pleos Connect Introduces a 17-Inch Infotainment Display
The all-new TUCSON introduces Hyundai's Pleos Connect infotainment system, based on Android Automotive OS. The system is available with a 12.9-inch or 17-inch central touchscreen, paired with a 9.9-inch digital instrument display.
The Gleo AI voice assistant supports access to information and vehicle functions using natural-language interaction and live data. The Android Automotive platform also supports compatible applications and connected services, while over-the-air updates allow selected software functions to be updated remotely.
Other available features include a head-up display, Hyundai Digital Key 2, two 15 W wireless smartphone charging pads and four 100 W USB-C ports. An optional 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium audio system is available for customers seeking an upgraded sound experience.
Hyundai has also incorporated physical controls below the central display for frequently used functions. The layout is intended to provide easier access to key settings while reducing the need to navigate through touchscreen menus.
