Škoda Auto has expanded its all-electric Epiq lineup with the new Epiq Sportline, a range-topping version of the brand's compact electric SUV. Announced on 12 October 2026, the Sportline combines distinctive exterior styling with additional standard equipment, including LED Matrix headlights, an illuminated front grille, electrically adjustable sports seats and a heated sports steering wheel.
The Škoda Epiq Sportline will be available in two versions, the Epiq 40 and Epiq 55, with maximum power outputs of 99 kW and 155 kW, respectively. The less powerful version offers a claimed range of more than 310 km, while the Epiq 55 targets up to 440 km on a single charge. Škoda notes that these range figures are preliminary.
Škoda Epiq Sportline Exterior Design
The Epiq Sportline receives several styling changes that distinguish it from other versions of the electric SUV. The exterior features body-coloured front and rear bumpers, glossy black Škoda lettering, black roof rails and black exterior mirror covers. A blacked-out contrasting roof is also available exclusively on the Sportline within the Epiq range.
Black alloy wheels are fitted as standard in a 19-inch size, while buyers can opt for 20-inch wheels. Both wheel designs are exclusive to the Sportline variant, giving it a more distinctive appearance.
The front lighting setup is another key feature. The Epiq Sportline introduces the illuminated Light Band front grille to the Epiq lineup, paired with T-shaped LED Matrix headlights. LED taillights complete the lighting package, with all three elements included as standard equipment.
Two Electric Powertrain Options
Škoda will offer the Epiq Sportline with two powertrain options. Both versions have a stated top speed of 160 km/h, while their power outputs, battery capacities, driving ranges and charging times differ.
- Škoda Epiq 40 Sportline: The entry-level version develops a maximum power output of 99 kW and peak torque of 267 Nm. It uses a battery with a gross capacity of 38.5 kWh and a usable capacity of 37 kWh. Škoda quotes a driving range of more than 310 km and a DC charging time of 23 minutes to replenish the battery from 10% to 80%.
- Škoda Epiq 55 Sportline: The higher-output version produces 155 kW and 290 Nm of torque. Its battery has a gross capacity of 55 kWh and a usable capacity of 52 kWh. The Epiq 55 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds and has a targeted range of up to 440 km. A 10% to 80% DC charging session is claimed to take as little as 24 minutes.
The manufacturer identifies the range figures as preliminary. Actual charging times can also vary depending on factors such as battery temperature, the battery's state of charge, ambient conditions and the charging infrastructure available.
Both versions feature regenerative braking, a coasting mode and Škoda's ECO assistant. Steering-wheel-mounted paddles allow drivers to adjust the level of energy recuperation. The ECO assistant provides prompts through the Digital Cockpit to encourage efficient driving and better use of regenerative braking.
Sporty Interior and Standard Equipment
The Epiq Sportline features a black-themed cabin with electrically adjustable sports seats upholstered in Suedia material. The seats are designed to provide additional lateral support for the driver and front passenger. Suedia upholstery is also used on the centre armrest, door panel inserts and dashboard trim.
Other interior details include a heated three-spoke sports steering wheel carrying Sportline badging, stainless-steel pedal covers, black headlining, ambient lighting and decorative door sills. The steering wheel also features paddles for adjusting regenerative braking. Wireless smartphone charging with an output of up to 15 W is included as standard.
Škoda positions the Sportline as the best-equipped version of the Epiq. It includes the Convenience and Tech packages offered with the Selection trim, along with the Light & View package as standard.
- Convenience Package: Includes dual-zone Climatronic automatic air conditioning, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror and Sunset privacy glass for the windows behind the B-pillar.
- Tech Package: Adds front parking sensors, KESSY Advanced keyless entry with automatic locking and unlocking, Digital Key functionality, a rear-view camera and wireless smartphone charging.
- Light & View Package: Combines LED Matrix headlights, Top LED taillights and the illuminated Light Band front grille.
Optional Travel and Premium Packages
Buyers can further equip the Epiq Sportline with two optional packages. The Travel Package adds Travel Assist 3.0, Crew Protect Assist, integrated navigation and a three-year subscription to Škoda Connect Premium services.
The optional Premium Package includes a Top Area View 360-degree camera system, a Canton sound system with 10 speakers, a front luggage compartment, Remote Parking, Trained Parking and Reversing Assist. These options expand the vehicle's driver-assistance, parking and comfort features beyond its standard equipment.

Pricing and Availability

AkulRide Verdict
The Škoda Epiq Sportline adds a sportier appearance and a more comprehensive equipment list to the brand's compact electric SUV lineup. Its glossy black exterior details, exclusive alloy wheels, illuminated Light Band grille and LED Matrix headlights provide a clear visual distinction, while the Suedia-trimmed sports seats, heated steering wheel and standard convenience packages strengthen its cabin appeal.
The choice between the 99 kW Epiq 40 and the 155 kW Epiq 55 also gives buyers two performance and battery configurations to consider. The Epiq 55 offers quicker acceleration and a higher targeted driving range, while the Epiq 40 provides a lower-output alternative. Final pricing and confirmed market availability will be important factors in assessing how competitive the Sportline will be against other compact electric SUVs.
