Bolt, an Indian EV Tech company has launched Bolt Lite, a smart and affordable Universal EV Charging socket. Bolt Lite is compatible with all EVs just like a 15amp socket and is available for an introductory price of ₹2500. A few features of Bolt Lite are as follows:
  • It is a 15amp, 3.3kW AC compact and easy to use home EV charging point.
  • Multiple safety features like surge protection, over-voltage protection, auto cut off, power theft protection, temperature sensor etc.
  • IP65 protection rating to withstand harsh weather
  • Private mode: only the host can access and use the charging point
  • Public mode: Host can share the charging point with public and earn passive income. The charging point will be available on the map on Bolt app.
  • It can be used to charge all types of electric vehicles: Two wheelers, Three wheelers, Four wheelers.
  • Energy and Expense monitor via Bolt app.
